From 1976 to 1982 Australian television viewers followed the story of the Sullivan family through the six years of WWII. This iconic soapie from Crawford Productions provided work for a veritable who’s who of Australian acting talent.

Denzil had an ongoing if occasional role as Mr Hardwicke, the boss of the engineering works where Dave Sullivan (played by Paul Cronin) worked.
