Denzil with microphone in hand interviewing British actress Anne Crawford during the filming of “Street Corner”. Denzil interviewed numerous British film “stars” for Australian radio during the 1952 trip — Dot and Den often watching the filming on location.
For “Street Corner”, the film crew hosed down the street to make it look like a wet night. (NB this same technique was later used by Denzil for the opening sequence of his film “The Witness” made at GTV9 circa 1960).
